I’ve had over 12 years of experience with newborns and your baby’s comfort and safety is my #1 priority.
I am very patient and my sessions are completely baby-led.
I will follow your baby’s cues and I will take as many soothing/feeding/diaper change breaks as needed.
That being said - most babies happily sleep through their sessions with me :)

WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO DO A BEACH FAMILY SESSION?
Beach family sessions are best done either around 9-10am or later in the afternoon around 3-4pm.
If you want the “golden hour” look, then the best time is later around 6-7pm just before the sun goes down.
WHAT ABOUT THE WEATHER?
When we book an outdoor family session, we will pencil in your preferred date as well as a rain date.
As your date approaches, I will keep an eye on the weather and we will stay in touch
leading up to your session to make sure the weather will cooperate.
I only take a limited amount of sessions so that I can be flexible and move the sessions around the weather as needed.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO DO A NEWBORN SESSION?
Ideally, newborn sessions will happen when your baby is under a month old.
I recommend booking your session while you are still expecting.
This allows for your baby to be sleepy and posable for the duration of the session.
However, if your little one is older than 4 weeks, don't fret…
I will still be able to capture beautiful photos of your precious little bundle!
WHAT DO WE NEED TO DO TO PREPARE FOR A NEWBORN SESSION?
There is not much you need to do to prepare, but I do have a preparation guide that I’ll send you upon booking.
You do not need to bring anything for your baby to wear, as I have lots of bonnets, headbands, wraps and props.
Each session is individually styled and I will ask for your preferences on what colours you’d like used.
To keep your images classic and timeless, my style is very neutral, simple and minimal.
If you have something special you’d like included like an heirloom blanket, a wedding veil, or an antique item passed down from someone special,
please let me know ahead of time so that I can prepare to use them.
WILL I RECEIVE THE DIGITAL PHOTOS FROM MY SESSION?
Yes! I have both printed art collections as well as digital collections.
As an added bonus, for any print, product or album that you purchase,
you will also receive the corresponding digital images for sharing and archival purposes.
The digital images are great to keep as back up - but nothing stands the test of time like a printed photograph.
